Taking a cue from Letterheady, today I'm posting my favorite thing in our stationery drawer. Both of Allen's maternal grandparents worked for the Detroit News in the fifties, and we inherited a stack of old letterhead. I love the variety of typecases, the airy kerning of the text, and the crisp line drawing on the stationery. (Plus, this post gives me the opportunity to mention Letterheady, which is so much fun.
