We're not gone, promise.

Times are busy and posting is slow, my apologies! But I haven't been sitting idly by. I've got posts to come on making this cake in a tomato can, another cake in a coffee can, making re-usable coffee filters and a zipper pouch tutorial.

But for now here are some links to my favorite cake makers, as you can see I'm quite inspired by them. Nikole Herriot's cakes at Forty Sixth at Grace: I love the icing, I love all the different sizes (this is what has inspired me to experiment baking in different kinds of cans). And the flag streamers at KiKi La Ru are simply perfect.
